This is one of my first attempts at doing a Boken Panorama. Although, I obviously forgot to switch to manual instead of Av... see the lighter bits on his shirt. haha. This was taken at Pick Me Up, which is an annual big fair/exhibition held at Somerset House. Mario is standing in front of a wall of colleges made at the fair at a workshop. Mario is a Graphic Design student at Camberwell, and is also doing the Channel project at the moment.
I digress. I'm supposed to be talking about Pick Me Up. Right. Peep Show had a big thing there and the workshop we did was organised by them. A few kids from my class were there helping out so there were lots of friendly faces. Lots of good work. Lots of smiles. I also took some video but I'll post that at a later date. Here are some snaps from the day:(14 photo stitch. Click to view larger!)
And some that Mario took. We've both got the same camera- so there was lots of fun happening.
Yay! Thanks Mario for the pictures. [: And last but certainly not least:
This beautiful drawing by Lizzy Stewart (Many Hands) that she drew at the show & now sits happily in my house. Good job Pick Me Up!

Looks like fun! Great shots!

Hi Kim! I just found your blog from Love, Elycia and I love it! So just wanted to say hi really... I read your about page and you remind me of myself when I was younger - I too have struggled with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, it played such a huge role in shaping me as a person... you're blog really made me smile! I'll be back! Jen x

Looks both interesting and fun, I'd love to have a closer look at all the images on pegs. Also, that cat hat drawing is hilarious.

I just found your blog and love what I've seen so far!
I'm a fine art student and will be on holiday in the UK (from Australia) in July.
I have family in the UK and in South Africa, so have enjoyed your perspective on both places!
Good work!
