This is something I've been wanting to do for a while now- I used to take lots of stopframe photos of my life, with the intention of compiling them into a video format- a sort of moving image of my life at that time. But it never got done.
With my new camera, it's a whole lot easier to record moments in this way, and I found myself taking more video than photographs! Which is quite exciting really. [: I'm calling this a 'Home Movie' because- in way, I guess, it is. It's got a very sentimental quality to it. Sort of half documentary, half home video. You'll also see clips of vlogs in here that I've tried making. haha. Enjoy:
** This is in HD- so that means to see it's full beauty you want to FULL SCREEN this bad boy (and make sure the little 'HD' button is in blue- bottom right)**
and some screen grabs:All footage taken in the month of March 2012. Kimxo

Such a brilliant movie! The music goes perfectly with it, it's so relaxing and made me smile. Are you shooting with an SLR or a video cam? It's great that you can change the depth of field. I have an HD video cam but you can't do that with it. x

Oh I love this so much Kim. Moving photographs I would call them, with added sound! :)
I was in Hackney last week, by the Lea Valley and saw lots of canal boats - made me want to live in one toooo x

Who did the illustrations of the people on the white paper in your film? They are amazing.

Kim, your video is gorgeous. The captures (moments) and the music are comforting and quiet and mellow. The lighting and focus choices really set a striking mood. Keep up the lovely videos -- I'd love to see more. :)

What a wonderful video. Love how you captured those sweet moments.
I've been trying to capture day to day life and recently posted about it here. http://esthermcarrera.blogspot.com/2012/04/time-is-precious.html
Can't wait to watch the videos in 10, 20, 30 years from now. What a treat they will be.
