Being Molly Weasley was pretty easy as my house seems to be full of knitwear and silly clothes that make me look rather plump. [: I also just dyed my hair a redder colour (darker on top, lighter on bottom) but I foolishly didn't bleach it first so it came out a lot darker than I would've liked... but I still love it. haha. Ideally it would be shorter and more of a lighter ginger.. but picky picky.Clobber details:
Hair clip: Handmade by Amy
Yellow flower dress: ebay.
Orange crocheted Jumper: From Grandma
Crocheted Shawl: Thrifted in Budapest market.
Half Apron: my old work apron from a scrapbooking store.
Belt: Thrifted bowtie and yarn.
Handknitted socks: Me.
Wand: big 'ol paintbrush.
Some important things to remember: Have a kind smile, be motherly, be stern, keep those twins in line!, warble with the radio, have knitting always on the go, be worried about everyone else, love your husband, make do and mend, midnight tea dates are essential to peace of mind, always have something yummy smelling in the kitchen, give lots of hugs.Molly is one of my favourite characters in the whole series. Well at least favourite female. She's a bit of a role model and I see so many of my favourite women (in real life) in her. If I could grow up to be like her, I would be happy. 7 kids, faithful husband, low income and all.
Big loves from me. kxo
