It's tuesday, which means it's video day! I took a lot of dark, grainy footage from a birthday party on my friend's boat. They always play the best music when ever I'm visiting, and it's got such a cozy atmosphere. I edited the best shots together with a cute song Sam, Rowan and Josh improvised. I've got some more songs for a later date to share, but for now I wanted to share this special place with you.
See it on Youtube. Like & Subscribe for more!P.S. if you've been a follower of this blog/ my flickr for a long time, you might recognise some these faces from my Bristol days. I still consider them some of my closest friends even if we live in different cities now. :]

p.p.s. Yaara took this photo of me, and it pretty much sums up how I feel when I'm on the boat. haha. Blissed out with friends and knitting. What could be better?

The lovely people at We Make London asked me to participate in one evening with the Camden Night Markets during December. The vibe was nice and Christmassy and got me in the mood for shopping big time. A lot of my friends came out that night too, which made bearing the cold much funner! :] Here are a few snaps I took of my stall that night. Mum was also there to help- here she is sporting one of our 100% British Wool, Handspun hats. Cozy!

I've got to admit, I've not been taking my film cameras out much this last year, but I still have such a huge obsession with Black and White and with Double exposures, and all the 'mistakes' that go along with film photography and Lomography.
I have been much better at making sure I snap a photo of something everyday due to my love of Instagram, though. There's a great app on the iPhone that is my favourite to use because the results feel much more 'organic'- you choose the 'film' and 'lens' beforehand and then you snap away- not knowing what the colours/effects will be until it's 'processed'. It's called ClassicToy.
All the photos in this post were taken with a B&W 'film' and the Double Exposure 'lens' in that app. I took them during a couple road trips recently. I hope you like them as much as I do...Love, Kimxo

Literally my favourite way to spend holidays- with family. For a few days around New Year we visited my Great Aunt and Uncle in the midlands. We spent a lot of time around the fire chatting, knitting and playing games.
So sweet, when coupled with delishious gluten free snacks and meals. For actual NYE, we had a big big dinner with friends which was wonderful and fancy! I guess I just love those quiet moments.

It's often struck me how lucky I am, that I have a such a good relationship with both my parents. I don't mean to brag, I just really appreciate it, y'know. There are families out there that don't speak to eachother, and even hold contempt for one another. I'm just very thankful that I consider my parents to be two of my best friends. They are always there if I need them, and have always supported me with whatever dream I've been following. I'm also super super lucky my that Mum comes to visit me often and thier house isn't too far away. I love being able to spend the weekend at thiers if I need a little bit of time away from London. It's such a cozy feeling, being at home (Negs comes too!), playing board games or card games and spending the mornings in bed, and working on creative projects. Here are some photos of my most recent weekend down there.
