Please meet my wonderful Renegade booth neighbor- Jess Quinn! Such a small world, they come from Bristol, which is where part of my heart still lives. [: So many crazy beautiful creations on this booth! Dolls and little painted faces and broaches. Swoon!
She was there with her sweet daughter, Sadie - who, turns out, fell in love with some of my handspun. On Sunday morning, while we were setting up- Mum and Daughter were winding the skein into a ball!Such fond memories of my mum and me doing that- it was lovely to see my wool being made into new homely memories. Aw.Anyway, just so cute, I had to share! And the ball ended up so big! Sadie said she had already sketched out an awesome project for it, I hope they e-mail me when it's made. [: Adorable! Here are a couple of close ups of the wool I took in the summer. It was a one off skein, using a mix of fleece, curly fleece and some super skinny machine wool. A fun experiment.Happy weekend!
p.s. Etsy update TOMORROW! Sunday! Come and get wool & swatches & vests! Probably up about 4pm my time. [:
