Oooh - I, too, have super fond memories of shopping with my mom in fabric stores when I was little. :) So fun! She's a quilter, too, and we used to take classes together or go pick out fabric for my next sewing class projects...lovely! We still like to mill around in them when I visit. :) The colors & patterns are so inspiring!!

And I can't wait to see what you're crocheting! Looks lovely! I've been too nervous as of yet to move to the smaller hooks & yarn/thread, but I really want to...:) Have fun!

O i adore this post. i remember goin 2 fabric stores w my ma 2. hoping someday i would sew like her. but no, i don't have the patience. i'm srry bein sick is the worst cuz u want ur body 2 stop makin it hard 4 u 2 do all the things u could if u weren't. ur hair pretties R lovely, including the crocheted snail like one & i luv the sky views of england!
