After such a long plane ride, it took me a few days to recover from the strain of all the travelling. A lot of sleeping in and card playing and drawing on the couch. We went out to visit a little exhibition that Ted was in. :] Some days, my journal entries were more like diary entries. Writing, although more like short sentences to remind myself of things, rather than a dialouge/ramble.Also- I was only using one side of the sketchbook at the begining- something which my tutors keep telling me a GOOD thing- so you can easily take out pages as use them as originals, but which I find rather difficult. I'm afraid the one-side-only rule didn't last very long with this sketchbook. Win some. Lose some. haha.

he he - love your watercolor handwriting! And I always have the same dilemma with sketchbooks - it seems such a shame to leave that much paper (even if they are backsides) empty, no? Hmm.

Love the diary entries. Is that watercolour writing? What size brush? It's lush!
I only do one sided work in my big a3 sketchbook. It was painful at first because of all the tempting White being left behind forever and ever but now I have page after page of work that could be actually used like you said. I have a smaller book which is full of work I don't like so I'm thinking of going back through it in reverse and reusing the blank sides to get something good out of it.
