Craft Club at 'old Brown. :: Knitting & London.

Every wednesday a few girls and I head down to my cousins pub  (which has a lot of red lights! haha) and have a drink and maybe some potato wedges and do a bit of knitting. It's a good chance to catch up and talk about projects and also gives me a chance to see my cousin (who is, actually my 2nd cousin and about 10 years older than me... but whose counting.. :] ). It's a really nice weekly ritual and keeps me on my knitting toes! We are all getting some yarn together to start a Jumper together! We've picked out a pattern and Emma has even done her tension square!All these photos were taken by Jazz, a regular member. There's no editing on these at all. It's really red! :] And that's Dan, my cous' in the last photo. We don't usually stay till 'last orders'! hehe. Imagine the state of our socks if we did. :]
If you're ever around Oval and are looking for a nice laid back pub with a bit of a vintage vibe- stop by The Brown Derby, it's a good'un.

Fact + Fiction Studio Exhibition.:: Camberwell BA.

Hello! It's been assessment time around the Camberwell Illustration department. 1st years had thiers, we just finished ours and the 3rd years were looking pretty stressed today labeling all thier work. It's customary for the 2nd years to put on a little show around this time, celebrating the work we've all be doing over the last Unit.

There is a huge range of work up and EVERYONE has put in tons of hard work, and the quality/talent is amazing. Gosh, guys- I'm just so proud!
There are a few of my knitted pieces up on the wall and a brand new book activity book that I'm really excited about. I'll take some pictures tomorrow while the exhibition is up- but you can take a little look at some of the digital work from the last project HERE.

P.S. Talking about camberwell...One of my tutors this year- Luke Best- did a little interview recently. :] I think you'll find the video pretty inspiring. Also- you may just fall in love with this packing tape designed by another tutor of mine. 

Snow with Jazz! :: London & My Life.

This weekend has been all about girly sleepovers and staying up late and drinking lots of tea! It snowed last night so we had to go out and play around a bit in it. [: These photos are taken around my neighbourhood. It's funny how the snow makes everything more beautiful- even if it's gone a bit slushy.Have you been having fun in the cold? Hello blogland! I'm back again from my crazy deadline times. Here's some of the moments I captured on my phone while I was 'away':Finally being able to knit guilt free with new colours! And working hard at college on my book.Girl dates and craft club with Jazz. And the cutest kitty for company.We had our hand-on on monday and then this week we were sorting out the exhibition space, which needed a lot of work. It's looking good now. I also got to see a dear friend who had been studying abroad. And it's been snowing tonight!
