A new video is up on my youtube channel (which is kimsmithhappy). It would be awesome if you could like/comment and subscribe as it all helps!
Since going to Summer In The City 2014 as a stallholder, I've been super dooper inspired to make more videos. It can be such a brilliant community, and a great way to share content. I did take video/vlog about the entire convention, which I'm slowing uploading as I get round to editing (take a peek at the first day here), but in the meantime... Here's a cute video of my cousin Will and his nearly-1-year-old son Sam listening to me playing some Uke. Will is a pretty awesome graphic designer and I'm sure you'll be hearing more about him as we team up on fun projects (we live close now!). P.S. Do you notice that smashingly orange jumper, the little babe is wearing? I made it! hehe. You might recognise it, actually, from instagram.
For a few months in 2012, I was experimenting with video apps. One of the ones I liked, but never really caught on was Keek. Here are 14 videos (each 36 seconds long) that I took of random snippets of my life. They are essentially 36 second vlogs. Enjoy. :]
Hey, remember when I posted videos every Tuesday? I'm not going to promise a video EVERY week, but I can definately feel my blogging/vlogging mojo coming back.
Let's start out slow. Here's a compliation of 'videos' from my phone between Jan and March 2014. It starts the day I moved into my new home in Bristol. I'm making this just for me, but I thought you might be interested to see what I've been up to.

Well, it's been a couple of weeks since we've had a Tuesday Video! That's mainly because I'm in the final year of University and my schedule is wall to wall college work. Ah! It's kind of a crazy time over here. There's a lot of things coming your way soon! My hand in date is May the 31st, and our show is June the 15th so that gives you an idea of when new things will be showing up here.
In the meantime, here's a fun little video that I took during the Peoplespace market opening!
It's Sam and Rowan on top of the boat at Camden Lock Market. Enjoy!
This video was also made during my A-level animation course at school. It was a test for multiple processes like using acetate and filming something backwards as well as cutout. When I look back at this, it makes me just want to play with stop motion again. This was done in a few hours using very simple techniques. If you've always wanted to try animation but never have- I say go for it!
Love, Kim xo.
p.s. remember to like & subscribe on youtube if you haven't already. I'm making this a regular thing. New videos every tuesday!
Okay, this is kind of a long video, but it's a Haul-type knitting themed thing. If you want to hear me chatting about the books, yarn and etc that I'm loving right now and see me pull stupid faces and say 'um' quite a lot... this is the vlog for you! Haha. Enjoy!
