The LCC Fresher's Zine Fair! :: Camberwell/Shop talk.

Today was the Fresher's Zine fair, which tends to happen every year and is a great chance to meet people and chat about zines and arts and crafts and tutors we love. There was a pretty good turn out at LCC, vendors and customers alike. It's always nice to see what everyone is getting up to.Here are some photos from today of the stall and things. I was also handing out Renegade flyers like a crazy woman. It is possible I may have scared people with my incessant smiling. I can't help it! Art really does make me happy. haha. Jazz drew that beautiful picture for me (haha) while we were chilling out. I was sharing a table with Jazz and Dave and their wonderful comics. There was a lot of interest in them, which was good. Good to see people smiling when they read them and asking questions and things. And loads of people bought Jazz's bags. It was a good day. We had a constant stream of really lovely people and conversation today. If we met you, say hi here!
Here are some silly photos from earlier in the day when we were enrolling: It's really nice to be 'back at college' even though we haven't properly started yet. Doing the fair today has also made me ridiculously excited about Renegade. Not that I wasn't already. Gosh, darn. I'm just not very good at being cool and aloof. Anyway. Camberwell Fresher's Zine Fair/Jumble

On Monday (which seems like years ago!) I had a stall at the Camberwell Zine Fair that was part of Freshers Week! Me and Freshers week... haha, i didn't really think i would be participating but- I've been pleasantly surprised by some of the activities that have been organized, like this one and the Homeland and a Charity shop Crawl and Stitch and Bitch. I'm looking forward to getting involved a little more, hopefully there will be more fun things like this (not just club nights etc). Anyway, Here are some photos from that day. (Some of them are kind of hilarious...)I had a lot of visitors and helpers, which was fun but kind of cramped and crazy. [:Zoe (ladybirdlikes) came to check it out and we hung out- I love meeting people from online! this instax is still developing- she is so sweet. AND there were yummy treats like red velvet cupcakes, which were amazing.I liked my little table, and I had some more products which will be coming to my etsy shop on the 10th for the update! Thanks for letting me share stuff like this- it's exciting starting a new year and meeting new people. What are your favourite memories from starting college/uni?

July 11th, Save Our Souls.

It will be held at: NICHOLLS AND CLARKE BUILDING 3-10 SHOREDITCH HIGH STREET! Sunday 11th of July. 

I will have a stall there, and I highly recommend pretty much everyone on that list, so it should be an incredible day! I'm really honoured to be involved!

Field Trip Magazine. no1.

Let's just get one thing straight before I show you these photos- we all know I'm a massive geek, right? 
Ok. Good.

Now, on with the embarrassingly excited photos.This is Field Trip Magazine, the first issue, and all of this excitement is because I'm in it!(grass image from here) haha. It's full of analogue photography and lomo love. I keep going back and looking at it again. It would make a pretty amazing coffee table read. You can get one here. it's amazing, and the paper isn't grossly glossy, it's matte and beautiful.And, it's published by my favourite UK illustrator&publisher dude, Craig Atkinson of Cafe Royal Books. So, now you know. I think it's pretty customary for me to take these kinds of photos everytime I get something published. Remember this? haha. actually, I haven't taken some like these in a little while. I'm rambling now.
